What We Do
Elements of Internal Movement (EOIM) DBA RevLove is a nonprofit organization bridging the gap between urban and rural agriculture to foster food security, workforce development, and economic empowerment. Based on Cleveland’s East Side, with a focus on the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood, we transform vacant urban spaces into productive agricultural hubs, ensuring fresh food access and career pathways for young people. Our programs create economic opportunities and educational experiences that connect young people to agricultural systems.
We believe in agriculture as a tool for empowerment, providing young people with mentorship, hands-on skills, and workforce readiness to sustain the future of food production. Our approach supports holistic community wellness and strengthens the pipeline of new farmers and agricultural leaders.

Our Philosophy
Our theory of change is rooted in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. We assume that in order to be holistically well; individuals leading their community to a place of thriving will also need support to move past a place of surviving. We change the future by starting with addressing foundational needs and standing in the gap resulting from systemic and historical inequities.

Love
Leading with care and spreading the value of love as a response in every situation.
Community Driven
Believing that the community holds solutions and working to dismantle inequitable systems that hinder thriving.
Our Values
Creativity
Leveraging creative expression to heal, communicate, and inspire change.
Sensory Experiences
Engaging through hands-on learning that reaches all cognitive abilities, inspiring holistic wellness and joy.
Self Deternmination
Empowering individuals to define their paths, set their goals, and overcome obstacles.
Rooted in Mount Pleasant: Our story

Shirley Bell's family roots in Cleveland's Mt. Pleasant neighborhood span multiple generations, and her commitment to this community is deeply personal. Her grandparents moved from Georgia to Mt. Pleasant as teenagers, carrying with them hopes for opportunity, stability, and a better future for their family. They planted roots here, raised their children here, and built relationships that still shape their family today.
Through RevLove Farm, Shirley and Jermaine have dedicated themselves to transforming vacant spaces into places of learning, healing, and connection where families gather to grow food, learn together, and support one another. Whether hosting children's exploration sessions, supporting youth workforce development, or teaching families how to grow food, their goal is to help local families thrive together.
